January 24th...24/365

Since the weather decided to go from 82 yesterday to 32 today, we decided to go get a library card. I figure Dylan is getting to the age where he would enjoy getting to see different books other than the 100 or so that we have here at home. He picked out two books Monster Truck Drag Racing and Rockets and Spaceships.

January 23rd...23/265

I cleaned out our storage shed on Thursday and brought all of the old baby stuff into the new baby's room. Riley found her old Bumbo chair and decided to give it a whirl. I think she's a little too big, but she doesn't seem to think so.

Here's Miss Riley dancing and listening to her little radio. She loves that thing!

January 21st...21/365

I decided to make some homemade beef jerky. I use to have a delicious seasoning kit, but I was sad to find out that the store no longer carries it. So sad...so I had to improvise and it was not so good. It took FOREVER to get completely dry in my dehydrator, I think I sliced it too thick. Also, it was RIDICULOUSLY salty. But like all of my culinary adventures that don't turn out exactly the way I plan, I loaded the jerky up and took it up to the tractor dealership. Our employees there are like Mikey, they'll try and eat anything!

January 20th...20/365

My BFF, Amanda, got the kiddos some really cute PJ's/book sets. Dylan got Cordorouy and Rilyey got Pinkalicious. I thought it would be cute to get a pic of the two of them in their PJ's to send to Amanda. Apparently the kiddos, didn't think it was such a good idea!

January 19th...19/365

Since the kids were out of school for MLK day, my cousins Jami and Sherrie came over and brought each of their two boys. So I decided to take individual pictures of all six 'cousins' for a picture frame that my Granny has at her house with six slots. I figure we had better go ahead and get a little use out of it before her 7th great-grandchild arrives. So here is a picture I took of Jami's son Drew. He is the youngest of the five boys. Too cute!

14 weeks...I've decided to do 'Belly Shots' with this, our final baby. I took a few here and there with both Dylan and Riley, but have decided to do them every 2 weeks with this one.

January 17th...17/365

Riley up-close. Sorry, it's the only pic I took today.

January 16th...16/365

Dylan and cousin Jacob standing by the turtle fountain at the mall.

Dylan has gotten green "Humpty's" at pre-school for the past two weeks, so I told him we could go to Build-A-Bear Workshop and make a new friend. Every child in Dylan's class has a Humpty Dumpty on the wall in their classroom. They have a calendar in their Take-Home folder made out of Humpty's. If they don't get in trouble they color them green, if they get in trouble once they have to color them yellow, and twice then red. His cousin Jacob had an early release day so we picked him up and went to the mall. Dylan made a Longhorn named Big Horn, Jacob made a dinosaur named Godzilla, and Riley made a gray kitty named Greta.

January 15th...15/365

I got a call from Riley's Mother's Day Out this morning about an hour after I had dropped her off. She was apparently running in the room and fell and hit her nose/left eye on a little rocking chair. The new bruise goes nicely with the healing black eye under her right eye that she got when Dylan 'accidentally' let go of the door and it hit her in the face. Poor baby girl!

Dixie the dog trying to get warm in the house.

Dylan dancing before going to bed. Riley deciding to join in.

January 12th...12/365

Nanny got Dylan and Riley construction sets. They loved them and Daddy got them each a piece of wood to 'work' on.

January 11th...11/365

Riley eating potato chips at 'Old' Granny's house.

January 10th...10/365

Friday evening Dylan wanted to look at pictures. So we looked at our wedding album and also at the scrapbook of his first year. After looking at them he asked, "Where's Riley's book?" I decided that I needed to get on the ball and get hers done before the baby comes this summer. So, here is what our kitchen table looked like on Saturday.

January 9th...9/365

It was a gorgeous day so I took Dylan and Riley to the 'new' park down the road from our house. They had a lot of fun!

January 8th...8/365

Riley was trying to be like big brother Dylan and put her 'empty' cereal bowl in the sink too. Apparently it wasn't too empty, because it dumped all over her. Am I a bad mom because instead of helping her, I grabbed my camera?

January 7th...7/365

My cousin Jami brought her boys over today to play. I was telling her about my 365 Blog and she asked if I had taken a picture of today yet. So we got her 5 year old son Jacob to take a picture of us.

January 6th...6/365

I decided to take a picture of the Zofran that I take every morning to keep from having morning sickness all day long. I took this same medicine with Dylan and Riley as well. Hopefully in a few more weeks, I'll be able to stop taking it.

January 3rd...3/365

Today was my first day to actually be able to take pictures of the kiddos for this 'project' of mine. It is hard not to put a picture of the two of them up, however, I love this picture I took of Dylan when he and Riley were jumping on the trampoline today. It was an incredibly beautiful day, about 80 degrees outside so we spent the day taking down the outdoor Christmas decorations too. Of course, typical Texas weather, it is suppose to be in the 30's and 40's tomorrow and Monday!

January 2nd...2/365

Well, as I said before, I just decided to do this on January 2nd late in the evening. So I decided to take a picture of my fabulous kitchen because it was actually very clean last night!

January 1st...1/365

I decided to do Project 365 on January 2nd. Fortunately, I did take one picture January 1st so here it is...Mr. Dylan looking cheesy!
